Bibleway Truth Temple’s aim is to be a premier Apostolic, Pentecostal ministry of liberation for the total person.

Mission:

Our mission is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ so that others may be liberated and set free spiritually, emotionally, financially, and physically. We are committed to:

Worshipping the Lord in the beauty of holiness
Displaying the love of God on a daily basis
Learning godly principles for living and applying them to our lives
Sharing our faith with the unsaved, for the purpose of leading them to a relationship with Jesus Christ, and introducing them to the life changing power of the Holy Ghost

Bibleway Truth Temple Ministries:

The Youth Department:
This is the ministry through which young people enhance their spiritual growth through youth oriented activities, word & worship services, special seminars, and social events.

Men’s Ministry & Women’s Ministry:

These are separately held seminar type meetings that are designed to give a godly, biblical approach to dealing with the issues we face as men and women, respectively. These services are generally held on 4th Sunday afternoons of each month.

Sunday School:
It is the goal of the Sunday School to clearly present the truth about God, salvation, life and living. These group of individuals study to show themselves approved unto God, a workman not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. There are classes for every sector of the family. Additionally there is a new convert’s class, which provides instruction in basic Christian principles.

Children's Ministry:

Special services designed especially for the little worshippers! These gatherings help to build their knowledge of God, and increase their appreciation for Christian fellowship.

Ministry Biography:

The ministry that gave birth to Bibleway Truth Temple started in the winter of 1992-93 as a home prayer meeting, in the home of Min. Anthony and Sis. Doris Bryan. A co-worker of Sis. Bryan, Sis. Diane Kirby had been inquiring about the Holy Ghost. One Saturday afternoon, she met with Elder Courtney Henry, Lady Margaret Henry, and Sis. Doris Bryan, and received teaching concerning the benefits of being filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. At the close of this teaching session, she began seeking the Holy Spirit and was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost that same afternoon, and baptized in Jesus name shortly thereafter. Elder Henry then began to conduct regular Bible studies and prayer meetings in the Bryan home.

The Lord greatly blessed these gatherings. Three more souls were baptized in the name of Jesus, two of which received the gift of the Holy Ghost, as a result of these meetings. The regular attendance began to grow, and the Lord laid upon Elder Henry’s heart to start a church in the Gloucester County/Camden County area, and God gave confirmation that this was right move.

Although some of those who had been blessed in the home prayer meetings decided not to become a part of this new venture, the small band of saints pressed on and Bibleway Truth Temple was founded. The first Sunday morning service took place on March 19, 1995. It was attended by Elder and Lady Margaret Henry, their children Monique, and Christian Henry, Min. and Sis. Doris Bryan, Sis. Oriel Fisher, Sis. Brenda Gray, and two visitors. God marvelously blessed that first service, and indicated that He was with this ministry.

Since that time the Lord has blessed the ministry, despite the enemy’s attempts to stifle its progress. Since the official beginning, seven years ago, many souls have been baptized in Jesus name, and have been filled with the Holy Ghost. Those who have continued to regularly worship at Bibleway Truth Temple have experienced the effective power of God in their lives. Saints have testified to sicknesses being healed, financial blessings received, and God having a powerful impact in every part of their lives.

God has blessed Bibleway Truth Temple to reach into the community, through the ministry sponsored annual Clothing Drive, where those in need were able to receive clothing and toiletries free of charge. Additionally, the Lord blessed Bibleway Truth Temple to sponsor our very first conference, the Family Life Conference, in August 2001. Both events have added souls to our church.


Pastor Courtney Henry

District Elder Courtney Henry is a proud spiritual son of Apostle Huie L. Rogers, and the Greater Bibleway Temple, Brooklyn, New York. Pastor Henry was born and raised in London, England, where he received the born again experience at the Bibleway Tabernacle. He received his formative spiritual instruction at the feet of Bishop L.E. White, and served enthusiastically until his departure for the United States. When the time came for him to move to the United States, Bishop White directed him to the Greater Bibleway Temple. Pastor Henry initially served in the music ministry as a member of the Greater Bibleway Temple Radio Choir. However, in time, he acknowledged his calling to the ministry, and faithfully served as an associate minister.

While serving under and learning from Apostle Rogers, Pastor Henry functioned as a Sunday School Teacher, and held the post of President of the Shepherd's Committee (Pastor's Aide Committee). District Elder Henry attended the Greater Bibleway Temple from August 1980 until March 1995, when he set out to fulfil his pastoral calling, with the full blessing of his pastor. District Elder Henry also faithfully serves the International Church, Bible Way Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ World-Wide. He holds the office of General Recording Secretary, and was promoted to the office of District Elder in July 2000.

Pastor Henry completed his elementary education in London, England, receiving his High School diploma from Roger Manwood Secondary School. He received an Associates Degree in Accounting from Kingsborough Community College, Brooklyn, New York, and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Pace University, New York.

He is married to the beautiful Lady Margaret Henry, and the couple has two wonderful teenage children, Monique and Christian, both of which have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior.

Pastor Henry is a dynamic and informative preacher, and a profound teacher. His goal is to preach and teach the word in such a manner that allows the recipients to apply the principles to their lives and see God's power have an impact on their lives: to convey the anointed word that brings about liberation for the total person.
